How Large is the MyBreathPrint device

The MyBreathPrint handheld device is no bigger than a deck of cards.

I see that MyBreathPrint is mobile, can I use it with my phone?

Initially, MyBreathPrint will be available to clinician’s only, but eventually, it will be available for home use with the possibility of connecting it to your own phone or tablet.

I'm interested in getting tested. How does my clinic or doctor acquire the device?

Unless you are in one of our clinical studies or are part our strategic partner studies, MyBreathPrint is not available for daily use at your local clinic yet. But keep checking back or reach out to us at info@vocxihealth.com!

Where does your company name come from?

We believe that we are extracting intelligence from volatile organic compounds, VOC, patterns. So, Vocxi is VOC x Intelligence. Thanks for asking!

What are VOCs?

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are gaseous molecules. They can originate from within the body (endogenous VOCs) through a process called lipid peroxidation or from external sources such as diet, prescription drugs and environmental exposure (exogenous VOCs). How is MyBreathPrint different than other breath tests?

MyBreathPrint is a cross functional array of nanosensors based on graphene and functionalized chemical monolayers. It instantly turns chemical information in the breath into electrical patterns that can be analyzed (no reagents needed). Visit Science & Technology.

Other breath tests are either mass spectroscopy or gas chromatography technology. This requires ionizing the breath sample, which can lead to data loss. MyBreathPrint can be used at normal breath temperature and humidity levels. AND you don’t need a lab. MyBreathPrint is also completely mobile. While initially it will roll out in clinics, eventually it will be able to be used anywhere.

What is a BreathPrint?

VOCs can be analyzed to identify chemical elements and their existence in breath to reproduce a rich electrochemical response pattern: a BreathPrint. A BreathPrint is as unique to an individual as a fingerprint. Visit Science & Technology for more.

How can your device create a BreathPrint?

Technically, the VOCs interacting with the sensors create shifts. MyBreathPrint captures the quantum capacitance shifts when VOCs interact with our nanosensors.

Graphene has quantum mechanical properties. It is very sensitive, 1000x more sensitive than traditional electronic sensors. Most electrical sensors are sensitive at a parts per million level, MyBreathPrint is at a parts per billion.

Can MyBreathPrint be deployed or used for other diseases and ailments without hardware change?

MyBreathPrint was created as a platform, so its one hardware design is scalable and, through its machine learning platform, customizable to detect a wide variety of diseases, ailments and other health issues.

Is this like dogs that smell cancer?

Yes! Dogs have been proven to smell cancer from breath. Their olfactory system picks up the chemicals that trigger neuronal patterns – these patterns are then related to given results like cancer. Why a Breath Diagnostic?

The breath is a noninvasive way to get health insight from the body. No needles. No samples to send to the lab. Our sensors measure the thousands of VOCs expelled with every exhale.

Is a breath test similar to a blood test?

All a person’s blood passes through the lungs every minute. We measure one minute of breathing, so we are sampling VOCs that are being expelled from all your blood. It is not like a blood test in that it is noninvasive. And there are no reagents or lab work needed.

Why focus on Cancer?

Cancer is one of the leading causes of death. 1 in 3 men and 1 in 4 women will get cancer in their lifetime. The diagnosis timeline for many types of cancer is long and sometimes a highly difficult journey. Vocxi Health believes an easy-to-use noninvasive device will not only increase screening and detection, but increase early detection, which will save many lives.

Can MyBreathPrint be used for other diseases?

We are focused on lung cancer at the moment, however, we have performed observational studies in other areas. MyBreathPrint works on other diseases, from viral infections to other cancers. Because our design is comprehensive, our diagnostic can measure VOC patterns of many other diseases, conditions and health issues.
