Bringing her extensive background in manufacturing, operations and research and development to Vocxi Health, Raia leads the effort to develop and design MyBreathPrint®’s electrical and mechanical hardware, software and data analytics. Having worked the last two decades at Boston Scientific and DuPont, she has a breadth of experience from high-hazard, large-scale industrial chemical manufacturing and semi-works scale in polymers to R&D in display technology and process development for implantable devices in a highly regulated space. Driven by her desire to help people through engineering, Raia jumped at the chance to work with Greg Sherwood on the development of the electrical and mechanical subsystems of the Vocxi platform. She’s worked with a wide range of new technologies, and thrives in Vocxi’s inventive and collaborative environment, working hands-on in the lab performing experiments, evaluating product and classifying data.

My Why

“There isn’t anyone who hasn’t been touched by cancer in some way. For me, it was my best friend’s mom. I grew up with her and she passed away from breast cancer when she was only 46! Since I was a little girl, I’ve wanted to make the world a better place in some way. Early disease detection is a great place to start!”
